Although being a small mountain town, Cusco has a lot to offer for a wide range of interests and taste buds. I’ve compiled a guide of a handful of highly rated, affordable, and delicious restaurants, bars, and activities to check out while in town.

You can easily accomplish the list of activities if you only have a few days in the city. Transporation is easy to find to get around, or you can rent a car from the airport; although not necessarily recommended. The streets are very windy and narrow, and it could be dangerous driving yourself.

A Backpacker’s Budget Guide to Machu Picchu

As I began to plan my trip to Machu Picchu, I quickly realized that getting there was not going to be a walk in the park. But let’s face it, anything worth seeing is not going to be easy to get to, especially a world wonder like Machu Picchu.

A Foodie’s Guide to Lima, Peru

Let me just start off by saying that when I arrived to Lima, I had no idea that the city is in fact internationally known for its food. There are chefs from all over the world who have opened restaurants in Lima, introducing their cuisine and adding to it a twist of Peruvian fusion.

Needless to say, I didn’t have a problem finding amazing dining options. On the contrary, I actually had an issue narrowing down the places I wanted to try.
